Ho Chi Minh City will light up the sky with fireworks displays at four locations on January 1, 2026 to ring in the New Year 2026.

High-altitude fireworks at five locations across Ha Noi sparked roars of applause and cheers from adults and children alike whose voices reverberated across streets as Hanoians joined people nationwide in celebrating the 80th National Day anniversary.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Viet Nam’s National Day (September 2), Ha Noi will host a series of celebratory events culminating in high-altitude fireworks displays at five major locations across the city on the evening of September 2.

Fireworks will light up the skies over 30 locations in all 30 districts and town of Hanoi during the upcoming Lunar New Year ( Tet ) festival, Vietnam’s largest national holiday, the municipal People’s Committee announced on January 6.
