According to the plan for organising fireworks displays to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2026), recently issued by the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee, in addition to Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake, which were announced earlier, the city has added a launch site at Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong Ward).

Fireworks launch site No. 3 at Van Quan Lake has been designed to make maximum use of the water surface and lakeside landscape, creating a multi-layered visual effect. The display will last 15 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., simultaneously with the two launch sites at Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake, featuring nearly 800 fireworks units.

As the central highlight of the series of events, launch site No. 1 will be located in front of the Ha Noi Post Office area (Hoan Kiem Ward), with 1,725 high-altitude aerial fireworks, 500 low-altitude fireworks, 50 low-altitude fireworks racks and 350 pyrotechnic racks arranged directly on the water surface. The display has been staged to honour the historical significance and symbolic value of the capital, turning the heritage space around Hoan Kiem Lake into a stage of light connecting the past with the present.

Launch site No. 2 in the Quang Khanh Street area (Tay Ho Ward) will feature the largest number of high-altitude fireworks in this display, with 1,800 units, along with 475 low-altitude fireworks. For the first time, capital residents will have the opportunity to admire 200 water-burst fireworks combined with 900 pyrotechnic racks spread across the surface of West Lake, creating a spectacular dance of light on the waves.

In total, across all three launch sites, Sun Group is sponsoring nearly 7,000 units of fireworks and pyrotechnic racks of various types.

Firing simultaneously at 9 p.m., the three sites at Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake and Van Quan Lake will light up the Ha Noi sky, bringing residents and visitors memorable moments during the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day.
