The event is being held under the direction of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, with the support of the HAUS Foundation, a member of The One Destination JSC. It aims to establish a distinctive musical gathering, helping to enhance the appeal of Da Lat-Lam Dong for art lovers and domestic and international visitors.
Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, said the festival is one of the cultural and artistic activities in the programme of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026. The Jazz Festival is expected to offer a distinctive musical experience, featuring collaborations between Vietnamese and international artists. It also reflects the province’s direction of promoting cultural and artistic values in tandem with tourism development and the cultural industries.
The organisation of the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 is a practical effort to diversify cultural and tourism products, offer new experiences for residents and visitors, and promote the image of Da Lat-Lam Dong as a dynamic, creative destination with rich cultural identity.

The Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 will bring together numerous international artists and bands, including Lisa Ono (Japan), Nik West and Raul Midon (the US), along with artists and bands from the Republic of Korea and prominent figures in Viet Nam’s music scene, such as diva Hong Nhung and Tran Thu Ha, and musicians Tran Manh Tuan, Duc Tri, and Hoai Sa.
The festival’s general director, musician Huy Tuan, said the highlight of the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 would be its focus on jazz, featuring international artists and a three-day programme in Da Lat. It will be the largest-scale jazz festival held in Viet Nam to date.
In addition to individual performances, the festival features collaborative musical acts that highlight a distinct Vietnamese flair, bringing together renowned artists. Musician Huy Tuan said Da Lat was chosen as the starting point for the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival because the city is not only an attractive tourist destination but also has a distinctive cultural foundation. The word “heritage” in the festival’s name conveys the message of a dialogue between a city bearing the imprint of heritage and jazz — a musical genre with a long history of development.
In 2023, Da Lat joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of music. This designation recognises the city’s musical potential while also setting out the need to continue nurturing its artistic life, promoting creativity, and strengthening connections with the international cultural network.
The organising of the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 serves as an opportunity to realise the vision of developing a creative city through an event capable of connecting artists, the public, and music-loving communities.
According to the plan, the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 will take place from November 6 to 8 at three venues in Xuan Huong-Da Lat Ward, creating a musical journey through public spaces and performance venues with different atmospheres.
The opening night is scheduled to run from 5pm to 10pm on November 6 at Lam Vien Square, with free admission for the public. Performances will be held in the area around the April 3 Theatre in Da Lat's Hoa Binh central area on November 7, and the festival concludes at the HAUS Da Lat campus on November 8.
