In the first six months of 2026, despite facing many difficulties and challenges in the new development phase, Quang Ninh Province still achieved important results in socio-economic development.

According to the National Statistics Office, GRDP growth rates across localities in 2025 ranged from 5.84% to 11.89%. The majority of provinces and cities recorded growth rates above 7%. The group of localities achieving over 10% growth (6 out of 34) was led by Quang Ninh and Hai Phòng, with the highest increases of 11.89% and 11.81%, respectively.

The Party Organisation of the northern province of Bac Ninh on September 30 kicked off its first congress for the 2025 – 2030 tenure, bringing together 449 delegates representing more than 156,000 Party members from 103 subordinate Party organisations.
