Truong Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee, signed Decision No. 148/2026/QD-UBND on October 19, 2026, stipulating the procedures for supporting infrastructure development and organisations operating in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Ha Noi.

Ha Noi is accelerating progress on a series of key transport projects while also implementing urban renovation schemes to mark the 72nd anniversary of Capital Liberation Day. These changes are helping remove long-standing bottlenecks, strengthen connectivity and expand development space, with the aim of improving people’s quality of life.

The year 2025 marked many important milestones for the Viet Nam Road Administration, most notably the completion of more than 3,000 km of expressways. In 2026, the road sector will accelerate digital transformation, mobilise social resources and develop infrastructure based on a network-oriented approach, aiming for a target of 5,000 km of expressways and reaffirming the role of road transport as the lifeline of the national transport system.
