Lawmakers are scheduled to vote to pass many important laws and resolutions during the final working week of the 15th National Assembly (NA)’s 10th session from December 8–11.

The Government’s plan to merge three national target programmes into one drew broad debate at the 15th National Assembly’s ongoing 10th session in Ha Noi on December 5, with deputies insisting that the move will not diminish support for ethnic minority and mountainous communities.

The 15th National Assembly (NA) held group discussions in Ha Noi on December 4 as part of its 10th session to review a draft Law on Specialised Courts at the planned International Financial Centre (IFC) and a draft Resolution on mechanisms and policies for national energy development for the 2026–2030 period.

Lawmakers are scheduled to hear the Government’s proposal and a verification report on the draft Law on Artificial Intelligence, and discuss the draft Law on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer, and the draft Law on High Technology (revised) on November 21 as part of the 15th National Assembly’s 10th session.

The 15th National Assembly is discussing a sweeping package of education reforms during the ongoing 10th session in Ha Noi on November 20, which is being broadcast live on radio and television.

The 15th National Assembly plans to dedicate the entire day on October 28 to discussing a supervisory report and a draft resolution evaluating the enforcement of policies and laws related to environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect.
