Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who also heads the National Civil Defence Steering Committee, has signed a decision on the establishment of the online portal of the committee. ​

Localities were directed to deploy forces to guard flooded and landslide-prone areas, restrict traffic in unsafe zones, and prevent fatalities caused by negligence.
