Formulating plans for the expansion and enhancement of the North–South expressway
The Prime Minister has mandated the expansion and upgrading of limited two-lane and four-lane expressways to standard scale; prioritising the eastern North-South expressway. The Ministry of Construction is tasked with coordination with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to review and report to the Government leadership on proposed investment plans.
