The “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) programme, together with rural tourism, is breathing new life into Viet Nam’s countryside.
Many specialty craft village products and OCOP products from localities will be introduced at the Trade Promotion Fair for Specialty Craft Village Products and OCOP Products, from December 25 to 28 at Park City Urban Area, Le Trong Tan Street, Duong Noi, and the Southern Ha Noi wholesale market.
The Viet Nam–Cambodia Border One Commune One Product (OCOP) Trade Fair is under way in Tinh Bien ward, Viet Nam's An Giang province, featuring more than 200 booths by 80 enterprises of the two countries.
The 21st Viet Nam Craft Village Fair 2025, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, will take place from October 10 to 14 at the Agricultural Exhibition Centre (No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Ha Noi).
According to the Hung Yen Provincial Sub-Department of Rural Development, so far, the province has had 606 products evaluated, rated and recognised as One Commune One Product (OCOP) products. Among them, 493 products have been rated 3-star and 113 products 4-star.
In recent times, the One Commune, One Product (OCOP) programme has created a profound spread nationwide as well as in Quang Nam Province. Many organisations and individuals in the locality have proactively participated in the programme with the goal of promoting the potential and advantages of OCOP products.
