The 20th Party Congress of the northern province of Cao Bang, the 2025–2030 tenure, took place on September 17, with 399 official delegates representing 62,935 Party members from 60 local Party committees, alongside 151 guests.

Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) and Chairman of its Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac held talks with Chan Chun Sing, Assistant Secretary-General of the People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore in Ha Noi on July 21.

The 12th plenary meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee convened from July 18-19 in Ha Noi. Party General Secretary To Lam presided over and delivered important speeches at the opening and closing sessions of the plenum.

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man, who is also a Politburo member and Secretary of the NA Party Committee, attended the 1st Congress of the Party Organisation of the NA Committee for Legal and Judicial Affairs for the 2025–2030 tenure in Ha Noi on June 28.

Up to now, three out of the 11 Party organisations under the NA’s Party organisation have successfully held congresses for the 2025–2030 term.

The Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission held a national teleconference on December 29 to review its work in 2022 and put forward tasks for 2023.
