Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh have sent messages of sympathy to Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos over great losses of human and property caused by recent storms in many localities of the Philippines.

In recent days, several localities in Cebu City, the Philippines, have suffered severe damage by Super Typhoon Bualoi and a 6.9-magnitude earthquake, which killed 69 people, injured more than 150, and destroyed over 3,500 houses. The total damage is estimated at more than 1.7 billion Philippine peso (PHP).
