The National Assembly on November 17 heard the Government’s proposals and verification reports on two draft resolutions regarding education and health care, as part of its 10th session.
The 15th National Assembly (NA) on November 17 is scheduled to deliberate draft laws and resolutions relating to national reserves, education and training, public health, industry and security, as part of the agenda of its ongoing 10th session.
The draft documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress set out specific goals for 2030 and 2045, with the expectation of a breakthrough in economic growth as well as in all areas of social life.
One of the key objectives outlined in the Politburo’s Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough solutions to strengthen healthcare and improve public health is that by 2030, all citizens will receive basic hospital fee exemptions within the scope of health insurance coverage, following a clear roadmap.
Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu on October 10 chaired a working session with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and representatives of relevant agencies to review the implementation of Politburo Resolution No.72-NQ/TW, dated September 9, 2025 on breakthrough measures to strengthen protection, care, and improvement of public health.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has highlighted Viet Nam’s commitment to providing free hospital services and regular health check-ups, describing it as a strong demonstration of the Party and Government’s determination to improve citizens’ quality of life.
