After a period of preparation, the Vietnamese-Russian Knowledge Network (the Network) has been launched and is expected to become a long-term bridge between the intellectual resources of the Vietnamese community in Russia and the development needs of Viet Nam.

A symposium on socio-economic and scientific and technological development of Viet Nam in the 21st century in Russia has spotlighted broad prospects for cooperation between the two countries amid a rapidly evolving multipolar global order.

Viet Nam and Russia are facing a comprehensive, long-term cooperation agenda, as well as the potential for transformation in bilateral cooperation, said Dr. of Economics Leonid Borisovich Vardomsky from the Institute of Economics under the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The Centre for Viet Nam and ASEAN Studies under the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in coordination with the Embassy of Viet Nam in the Russian Federation, held an international conference titled “Viet Nam: Notable Milestones in 2026” in both in-person and online formats.
