A ceremony was held in Caracas, Venezuela, on September 2 to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day of Viet Nam (September 2).

Ambassador Thongphane Savanphet, Permanent Representative of Laos to the United Nations, has praised the close and reliable coordination between the Lao and Vietnamese missions, expressing his wish for even stronger and more effective cooperation in the future.
