The opening session of the World Peoples Assembly Days in Viet Nam took place in Ha Noi on August 25, marking the first time the event has been held in Viet Nam.

The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies, hosted a meeting in Ha Noi on September 2 to honour international friends on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day.

President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) Phan Anh Son on July 16 hosted a reception for Wei Ran, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office and President of the People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, during which the two sides discussed ways to strengthen locality-to-locality collaboration in the new situation.
