Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn and her spouse Simeon Beckett departed Ho Chi Minh City on September 12 evening, concluding their four-day state visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong and his spouse.

Ho Chi Minh City, with its expanded scope following the integration with Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces, has greater potential for broaden collaboration with Australian localities, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Tran Luu Quang has affirmed.
