Viet Nam – Korea Business & Investment Association (VKBIA), in partnership with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Government and the Gwangju Tourism Bureau, organised the “Gwangju Global Food Fair 2026 at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Centre in Gwangju, the Republic of Korea (RoK) from May 21 to 24.

In the new development context, properly recognising and promoting the role of overseas Vietnamese is key to driving innovation and sustainable growth, according to Dr Tran Hai Linh, member of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and Chairman of the Viet Nam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA).

A Comprehensive Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Viet Nam–Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA) and the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) at a ceremony on December 11 in Hwaseong, Republic of Korea (RoK).

Ho Chi Minh City has always valued and highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), especially with Gyeonggi Province — one of the RoK’s leading centres of economy, science, and technology. The city is ready to create the most favourable conditions for Korean enterprises.
