Top legislator pays tribute to late NA Chair Nguyen Huu Tho

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited the family of his late predecessor Nguyen Huu Tho (1910-1996) in Ho Chi Minh City on January 2 on the occasion of New Year 2023.

He offered incense and expressed his gratitude for the great contributions of Nguyen Huu Tho, who served as NA Chair from 1981 to 1987, to the revolutionary cause of the Party, country, and the National Assembly.

NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also sent his best wishes to the family of Nguyen Huu Tho, wishing that his family members will continue to make positive contributions to national construction and defence and give opinions on the law-building activity of the NA.

On behalf of the family, Nguyen Huu Chau – son of Nguyen Huu Tho, conveyed his thanks for the great care of the Party and State leaders, and that of NA Chair Vuong Dinh Hue in particular.

He affirmed that he always pays attention to the operation of the NA, and expressed his belief that the Vietnamese legislative body will promote innovation in order to improve its operational efficiency, thereby securing the trust and expectations of voters and people nationwide.
