In its second year, the Hanoi Open Pool Championship has a total prize value of 200,000 USD with the participation of 256 top players worldwide.
Of the 256 players participating in the tournament, there are 128 players at the top of the world rankings (top ranking World Nineball Tour), with 64 slots for international and Vietnamese players registering through the portal of the Organising Committee and the remaining 64 slots for players who passed the qualifying round held at HSG Billiards Club in late September and early October.
In its first year (2023), the Hanoi Open Pool was a great success, becoming a highlight in the series of cultural and sports events on the occasion of the Hanoi Liberation Day on October 10.
The tournament has made a strong impression on domestic and international pool enthusiasts with its professional quality as well as Vietnamese people's friendliness and passionate love of sports.
In addition to international players, Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2024 also brings together the top Asian and domestic pool billiard players such as Do The Kien, Luong Duc Thien, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Dang Thanh Kien, Bui Truong An, Ta Van Linh, Lee Vann Corteza, Johann Chua and James Aranas.
