The event is jointly organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Viet Nam and the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, in collaboration with diverse Korean units.
This marks the fourth edition of the festival, following the success of last year’s event which attracted over 20,000 visitors. Notably, this year’s festival features the participation of various Korean businesses operating in Viet Nam, including CJ ENM, CGV, Kakao Friends, and Dook’n Dook’n, offering visitors first-hand experiences with Korean film and animation characters.
Attendees will have the chance to explore and enjoy Korean cuisine through popular brands such as Daesang, Binggrae, Otoki, Orion, Samlip, and Otochick.
The art performance programme will feature vibrant acts, including performances by popular V-pop artists such as CONGB (Nguyen Thanh Cong) and Ngo Lan Huong; a professional Taekwondo demonstration by the Republic of Korea’s national team; a collaborative traditional art performance by the Noreum Machi troupe and Vietnamese artists; and lively K-pop cover dance and DJ shows.
In addition, the event includes interactive areas for trying on Hanbok, experiencing Korean traditional crafts, photo zones promoting Korean tourism, and traditional folk games from both Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea, fostering cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
According to Choi Seungjin, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, the unit has carefully prepared a joint Vietnamese–Korean performance programme and hands-on activities to enable local residents to participate directly, further strengthening friendship between the two countries through culture.
In the coming time, the centre will continue to organise a range of diverse activities in Ho Chi Minh City and across Viet Nam, contributing to bringing the two nations closer together through cultural exchange.
