According to the contents of the MoU, both parties commit to comprehensive cooperation in key areas such as promoting Hue’s unique tourism resources and developing themed tourism programmes tailored to the preferences of Korean visitors, focusing on imperial culture, cuisine, wellness, and Viet Nam - RoK cultural exchange.

Notably, the two sides will coordinate research and proposals to open direct flights between Hue and major cities in the RoK, creating significant opportunities to attract international tourists to the former imperial capital.

At the same time, efforts will be strengthened to train human resources and improve the quality of tourism services and products.

The MoU is valid for five years from the date of signing (May 30, 2025) and may be extended or adjusted upon mutual agreement.

The signing of this MoU is expected to mark a new chapter in tourism cooperation between Hue and the RoK, contributing to making Hue a more attractive destination on the tourism map of Asia.
