Tourism promotion event advertises Vietnam’s image in Russia

A promotion event advertising Vietnam’s tourism was held in Moscow on July 3 within the framework of the ongoing Vietnamese Culture Days in Russia 2024.

The event attracted the participation of Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, representatives of state management agencies, press agencies, and travel and hotel businesses from both countries.

At the event, Minister Hung affirmed that traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the Russia have developed strongly in many fields, including tourism.

He expressed his hope that the event would help Russian friends understand more about the country, people, culture, and tourism of Vietnam.

Visitors to the event were provided with updated information on Vietnam’s tourism policy, the country’s attractive destinations and tourism products.

They could also enjoy Vietnamese traditional art performances by artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theatre.

* The same day, Vietnamese Film Days in Russia 2024 was opened in Moscow, as part of a series of events to welcome the Vietnamese Culture Days.

The three-day event introduces Russian cinema lovers to five Vietnamese movies, including “Mat biec” (Dreammy Eyes), “Thach Thao” (Bell Heather), “Truyen thuyet ve Quan Tien” (Myth of Quan Tien), “Dao, Pho va Piano” (Peach Blossom, Pho and Piano), and "Em va Trinh" (Me and Trinh).

The movies tell stories about the country’s fights for independence, freedom and peace, and love for family, country and the arts.
