The event was organised by the Vietnam-Bretagne Sud Association and Larmor-Plage City, in collaboration with the Art Space Association and the participation of various regional organisations. The shared goal was to showcase the most distinctive traditions of the Vietnam’s Lunar New Year and Vietnamese culture as a whole.

The event attracted nearly 1,000 French visitors who explored the market stalls over two days, and more than 300 attendees enjoyed a concert showcasing Vietnamese music and arts.
The market stalls featured Vietnamese handicrafts and a calligraphy corner, drawing significant interest from French visitors. Many French locals and Vietnamese expatriates from Larmor-Plage and nearby provinces attended to immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of traditional Lunar New Year Festival.

At the Tet market, international visitors had the chance to join live cooking classes to learn how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes for Lunar New Year. While most French children were fascinated by stalls showcasing Ao Dai and handcrafted toys, adults were drawn to the food section, exploring regional delicacies from all three regions of Vietnam.
Especially, the organisers prepared 3,000 spring rolls (nem) for sale to raise funds in support of children with disabilities at the Rehabilitation Centre in Khanh Hoa Province.

This special art performance programme, designed to introduce Vietnamese music and culture, brought together more than 50 amateur artists and volunteers, both French and Vietnamese, residing in various cities across France.
The lion dance, symbolising wishes for luck and prosperity, was performed by the Mam Tre Association and the Vo Son Long Martial Arts Club in Morbihan. In addition, young performers from Rennes, Nantes, and Lorient delivered vibrant and dynamic performances, capturing the joyful and festive spirit of the Vietnam Lunar New Year.
A highlight of the event was the traditional lotus dance performed by the children's dance group from the Vietnam-Bretagne Sud Association, featuring French and Vietnamese children aged 7 to 12 who were born and raised in France.

The event also left a lasting impression with a choir of more than 40 French and Vietnamese singers performing “Bonjour Vietnam” in both French and Vietnamese. The performance was conducted by musician Hoang Thu Trang, President of the ART SPACE Association.
