The Vice President shared about the preparations for the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, the socio-economic situation of the whole country and An Giang Province in the first months of 2023, and the operations of the An Giang Provincial NA delegation since the beginning of the year.

Voters raised many opinions, focusing on hot issues including narrow places, weak roads and bridges, and limited lighting of the National Highway 91 passing through An Giang, local farmers’ incomes not being commensurate with their efforts, and the alarming situation of young people’s e-cigarettes use.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan appreciated the achievements that An Giang Province has gained in recent years.

She asked the An Giang Provincial Party Committee in general and authorities from Thoai Son District and Long Xuyen City in particular to manage all issues towards making drastic measures for the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.

The An Giang Provincial NA delegation proposed that the NA, Government, and provincial authorities should continue removing difficulties and obstacles, creating favourable conditions for An Giang and the Mekong Delta region in general to develop.
