Vice President presents gifts to policy beneficiaries and workers in Binh Duong

The State official joined leaders of Binh Duong Province to deliver 80 gifts to children living in difficult circumstances, families of policy beneficiaries, and workers in Ben Cat Town.

She also handed over 200 million VND, which was sourced from the Vietnam Children's Fund to support disadvantaged children in the province.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan highly appreciated the rapid development of Ben Cat Town, as well as Binh Duong Province in general, in recent years.

She hailed the local authorities’ efforts to ensure the social welfare for residents and workers.

She asked the local authorities to pay greater attention to developing sustainable development, digital technology, and green growth while improving infrastructure and high-quality human resources.

On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan saluted and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ung Thi Nung in Kien Dien Hamlet, An Dien Commune.

She also offered incense at the Tam Giac Sat (Iron Triangle) tunnel relic area in An Tay Commune. The tunnel played a vital role in Vietnam’s wars against the French and Americans. It was recognised as a national historical site in 1996.
