Head of PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs pays Tet visit to Binh Duong Province

Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac led a delegation to pay Tet visits to the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Public Security on January 15.

At the meeting with the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoang Thao said that the province achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields in 2022. The economic growth rate reached 8.01% while income per capita was reported at 166 million VND.

The province attracted over 3 billion USD in foreign direct investment and 4 billion USD in domestic investment capital and enjoyed a trade surplus of 10 billion USD in 2022.

The province also spent 270 billion VND to support policy beneficiary families, national contributors and workers in need on the occasion of Tet 2023, an increase of 20% compared to 2022.

Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated Binh Duong Province for achieving positive results in socio-economic development, especially in ensuring social security for people and workers amid many difficulties.

On the same day, he also visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Ruc and wounded soldier Tran Thanh Liem in Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City.

In addition, he presented 30 gifts to policy beneficiary families and needy households in the communes of An Tay, An Dien, and Phu An in Ben Cat Town.

He conveyed his best Tet wishes to all people and authorities in Binh Duong Province, wishing them a New Year full of health and happiness.
