With support and coordination from the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland, a Ministry of Finance delegation led by Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan paid a working visit to Poland from September 20 to 24, 2026.
During the visit, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai and Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan held working sessions with leaders of Poland’s Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the city of Wroclaw.
The two sides exchanged experience in preparing, consolidating, reviewing and using state budget settlement reports, as well as mechanisms for inter-agency coordination during the settlement process. They also discussed the use of settlement information for budget management and fiscal policymaking, and financial management at the local level.
The discussions also focused on practical experience, coordination mechanisms among relevant agencies and measures to improve the efficiency of public financial management. These exchanges are expected to contribute to institutional improvements and more effective state budget management in Viet Nam.
Assessing the significance of the visit, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai said the working trip had contributed to strengthening professional cooperation between the financial authorities of Viet Nam and Poland. He also highlighted the Vietnamese Embassy’s role as a bridge in promoting cooperation between agencies of the two countries.
