The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the People’s Army of Vietnam.
The event, themed “Bolstering Defence Industry Cooperation: Achieving a Global Maritime Balance and Secure World,” is being held from November 2-5 in Jakarta.
The expo has drawn the participation of over 844 companies, including 573 foreign ones from 54 countries and territories.
At the event, Vice President of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla declared that the expo aimed to demonstrate efforts to protect world peace.
This is one of the biggest expos in ASEAN on defence, aerospace and marine technology, which is held biennially.
