Vietnam celebrates Myanmar’s Independence Day

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh were in attendance.

Speaking at the reception, Myanmar Ambassador to Vietnam Win Hlaing praised the increasingly developed relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar in recent years, adding that the two countries still have considerable potential for future co-operation.

Deputy Minister Trung expressed his belief that the bilateral relations will further regional and global peace, co-operation, and prosperity.
