Vietnam jumps one spot in FIFA rankings

Vietnam’s national football team has jumped one spot to the 94th place in the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA)’s latest world rankings, 15th in Asia, and first in Southeast Asia, FIFA has announced.

In Southeast Asia, Vietnam topped the ranking, followed by Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Timor Leste.

In Asia, Japan topped the continent at 18th place in the world, followed by the Republic of Korea (24th), Australia (27th), and Saudi Arabia (57th). China jumped one place, ranking 79th.

Argentina, the World Cup champion, topped the ranking of the world, followed by France and Brazil.
