The PVCFC held an inauguration ceremony on May 28 for its representative office in Phnom Penh, marking the 10-year milestone of the “Ca Mau Fertiliser– Golden Season Pearl” brand in this key international market.
The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Minh Vu, representatives from various departments of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, Cambodian ministries and agencies, PVCFC’s partners and dealers, and local media.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu emphasised that the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia has carried out various trade and investment promotion activities in recent years to further enhance bilateral cooperation in these fields. According to the ambassador, the opening of PVCFC’s representative office marks a significant step in trade and investment promotion between the two nations.
Ambassador Vu noted that the presence of Vietnamese enterprises in Cambodia contributes not only to economic and trade ties but also to fostering goodwill between the two peoples.
He expressed hope that PVCFC would remain a trusted companion to Cambodian farmers, providing high-quality fertiliser products that meet market demands and consumer expectations.
At the event, PVCFC’s leader highlighted that the opening of its representative office in Cambodia is a strategic move toward professionalising business operations, strengthening connections with local partners, and improving service quality and technical support for farmers. These efforts are expected to support Cambodia’s modern, professional, and sustainable agricultural development.

According to company representatives, the first shipments of PVCFC fertilisers arrived in Cambodia in 2015. Thanks to favourable geographical proximity, reasonable logistics costs, and high product quality, PVCFC quickly gained consumer trust and expanded its market share. Within just a year, its urea market share in Cambodia reached over 30%, later rising to 42%, making it the market leader. To date, the company has supplied more than 1.5 million tons of fertiliser to the Cambodian market.
PVCFC is now considered a vital link in enhancing Cambodia’s agricultural competitiveness and sustainability. In the first five months of 2025 alone, Cambodia accounted for a significant portion of PVCFC’s revenue, generating approximately 581.5 billion VND, reaffirming its status as one of the company’s core export markets.
Looking ahead, PVCFC’s management stated that the company will continue expanding its presence in Cambodia by collaborating with top local distributors. Additionally, the firm aims to introduce new, higher-quality product lines through innovative solutions.
