Speaking at the opening ceremony of Vietnam’s Zone, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang, noted that Vietnam is very honoured to introduce importers and distributors from France in particular and Europe in general, to the proud products of Vietnamese farmers such as rice, pepper, star anise and cinnamon.

Vietnamese stalls were arranged professionally and modernly, satisfying the needs of seeking investment and cooperation opportunities from international partners.

According to Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang, the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which took effect at the beginning of 2020, has been opening up many business and investment opportunities. Through the EVFTA, Vietnamese products will have greater prospects to access more open and diverse markets.

The exhibition is a great opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their products and connect with importers and distributors in France, as well as other countries in Europe and around the world.

Jean-Marc Callois, a special envoy of the French Minister of Agriculture and Food in charge of agricultural and food businesses, highly valued the presence of Vietnam's leading food enterprises.
