Vietnamese peacekeepers in South Sudan celebrate National Day

A ceremony marking Vietnam’s 77th National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2022) was hosted by Level-2 Field Hospital No. 4 under the Vietnamese peacekeeping force at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on September 2.

Head of the UNMISS field operations agency Noel Ngaha delivered a congratulatory speech at the ceremony, in which he expressed his admiration for Vietnamese history and paid gratitude to the outstanding contribution of the peacekeeping forces of Vietnam.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Minh Duong - Commanding Officer of the Level-2 Field Hospital No. 4 expressed his thanks for the attention and direction of heads at all levels and the assistance and coordination of the UNMISS to help the hospital carry out its duties during the past time.

At the ceremony, the guests and international friends had a chance to experience Vietnamese culinary culture through traditional ethnic dishes, prepared by Level-2 Field Hospital No. 4.

On the occasion, Level 2 Field Hospital No. 4 has built a garden of Vietnamese traditional medicinal herbs aiming at supporting the health care activities of the hospital.
