This year’s contest, which featured four topics: Open Monochrome, Open Colour, Nature and Travel, received a large number of submissions from photographers globally, including countries such as France, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, the UK, India, China and Vietnam.

Cuong’s photo, featuring the beauty of Vietnamese terraced fields, claimed the FIP Gold in the competition’s Travel category.

The biggest prize in the Travel category, FIAP Gold, went to photographer Siviter Peter from English with the photo “Raining in Venice”.

Another Vietnamese photographer Nguyen Huu Dung was awarded a WOS certificate of merit with a photo featuring a boat dock in the COVID-19 season, also in the Travel category.

Furthermore, several outstanding works from other Vietnamese photographers are set to be displayed at the competition’s exhibition which will be held on April 24-25.
