Visitors to Fansipan to be charged entrance fees from January 2025

The authorities of Sapa Town have announced that sightseeing fees will be charged to visitors to Mount Fansipan and Cat Cat Waterfall starting from January 1, 2025.

Specifically, visitors aged 16 and above will be charged 10,000 VND (0.38 USD), while the fee is halved for children aged 6-16.

Fee exemption is applicable to children under 6 years old, people with severe disabilities, Party and State leaders, special guests, and students in Sapa Town on registered annual extracurricular activities.

The fee will also be reduced by half for senior citizens and beneficiaries of culture enjoyment policies.

Mount Fansipan is situated on Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, which is known for the majestic and pristine beauty of rocky mountains shaped over hundreds of millions of years of geological formation, the rich diversity of ecological landscapes, and the fresh climate.

In 2023, Mount Fansipan welcomed over 1.25 million visitors, with revenue of 785.6 billion VND (30.9 million USD).
