Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index dropped 0.03% to 1040.31 points on May 5. The index closed 0.3 points lower, after losing 8.51 points yesterday.

The total trading volume of shares reached over 669.35 million shares, equivalent to more than 10.75 trillion VND.

The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, where mid and small-caps list, was down 0.17%, while the UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market was up by 0.38%.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) fell by 11.37% to VND9.30 trillion (396.60 million USD).
