Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index fell 0.46% to 1120.18 points on June 30.

The index closed 5.21 points lower after losing 12.96 points on June 29.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) fell by 27.25% to 12.62 trillion VND (535.29 million USD).

The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 19 tickers dropped.

Foreign investors were net buyers to the tune of 387.55 billion VND, mainly buying HPG of steelmaker Hoa Phat Group and VHM of property giant Vinhomes.

The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange decreased 0.07% while the UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market increased by 0.43%.
