The event attracted more than 150 delegates from 75 universities, academies, research institutes, colleges, intermediate schools, and enterprises nationwide.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Dao Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Training Association, said that training and using human resources for cultural tourism in the context of international integration is an important issue in building a sustainable Vietnamese tourism product brand.
At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the concept of cultural tourism products and the current situation as well as the necessity of improving the quality of training and using human resources for cultural tourism in the context of international integration; finding out the fundamental causes that determine the quality of training human resources for cultural tourism at training institutions; specific factors in training and using human resources for cultural tourism products at training institutions and tourism enterprises; and proposing useful solutions for training and using human resources for tourism in the context of international integration.
The event was not only a forum for academic exchange, but also opened up opportunities for extensive international cooperation in the field of cultural tourism. This is also considered an important stepping stone in the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, focusing on cultural tourism products associated with the preservation and promotion of traditional heritage.
