On the morning of December 3, in Ha Noi, the Military Youth Union held a press conference to introduce the 11th Military Youth Union Congress, 2025-2030 tenure.
With the slogan “Military Youth: Brave, Pioneer, Breakthrough, Development” and the theme “Military Youth: Brave, Pioneer, Breakthrough, Development, Worthy of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers, Confidently Stepping into the New Era”, the Congress has the task of summarising and evaluating the results of the Youth Union’s work and the military youth movement in the 2022–2025 period; determining the directions, goals, and tasks of the Youth Union’s work and the military youth movement in the five years of 2025–2030; awarding emulation movements in the 2022–2025 period, and launching the emulation movement in the 2025–2030 period.
At the Congress, delegates will also contribute their opinions to the draft documents of the 12th Central Committee of the Youth Union to be submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, 2026–2031 tenure, and elect the Military Youth delegation to attend the 13th National Congress of the Youth Union.
The three specific breakthroughs of the Congress include: strengthening the training of revolutionary ideals, aspirations for dedication, and raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and youth union members to contribute to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern army; proactively and effectively performing training, education, and combat readiness tasks; building a regular order, raising awareness of law enforcement, discipline, and ensuring safety; promoting research, development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
