The event was attended by Le Hong Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, and representative of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education; along with leaders of An Giang Province, as well as the winners.
The organising committee of the contest and the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award presented 83 prizes, including nine A prizes, ten B prizes, 19 C prizes, and 45 Consolation prizes, along with honouring four excellent teams in propaganda and promotion of the contest.
The organising committee also decided to award 36 prizes, including four A prizes, four B prizes, eight C prizes, and 20 Consolation prizes, along with honouring five excellent collectives with many achievements in propaganda and promotion.
This is a contest to create and promote literary, artistic and journalistic works on the topic "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle" which has long become a unique mark of the Party Committee of An Giang in the implementation of studying and following Uncle Ho in the province.
For the period of 2022-2023, the organising committee received 1,312 entries in the various categories.

The participating works closely followed the theme, affirming the cultural value, the vitality of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, highlighting the value and great and practical significance of the studying and following Uncle Ho, and honouring good examples in the province.
Le Hong Quang highly appreciated the dedication, effort and intelligence of authors, groups of authors inside and outside the province, who actively participated in the contest and won this year’s Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.
He also wished that the province would continue to promote propaganda and promote the results of the contest and the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, the winning journalistic, literary, and artistic works.
