The contest was launched in June 2022 by the People’s Army Newspaper, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, and the PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation.
The organising board received more than 200 entries, with 180 of them being published in the People’s Army Newspaper.
At the ceremony, one first, three second, seven third, and 10 consolation prizes were presented to the best entries.
The winning entries honour outstanding collectives, individuals, and good people doing good deeds, in every field in life. Notably, many of them are Party members, scientists, and war veterans, who have made significant contributions to national construction and defence.
On the occasion, the People’s Army Newspaper announced the launch of a writing contest on simple and noble examples, for the 2023-2024 period.
The contest is open to Vietnamese journalists, readers, Overseas Vietnamese, as well as foreigners who are living and working in Vietnam.
The entries should praise the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese People’s Army and the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. The deadline for the contest is October 31, 2024.
