The race, previously cancelled in January due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, will allows participants to run through peach and plum gardens and green tea fields in Moc Chau.
Runners will race across a wide range of distances including 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km, and 70km.
Prominent faces among the runners will include Quang Nguyen and Nguyen Thi Duong, Gaetan Morizur and Valentin Orange from France, singer Duc Tuan, Miss Vietnam 2016 Mai Phuong Thuy, and writer Trang Ha.
A part of the registration fees of those participating in the long distance from 21km to 70km will be contributed to the race’s charity fund. According to the organisers, nearly VND700 million (US$30,400) will be distributed to charity projects helping children and disadvantaged families in Moc Chau district.
The VMM is one among the Vietnam Trail Series as launched by the Topas Travel Company, operating in Vietnam since 1990 and hosting adventurous tourist activities, sporting and outdoor events.
