Philippine Ambassador Antonio Javier Teehankee, in his opening remarks, emphasized the event's role in strengthening the friendship, solidarity, and cooperation among ASEAN members in Geneva. It also offered a chance for diplomats and their families to connect and share leisure activities.

The Vietnamese delegation actively participated in various sports, games, and cultural exchanges, promoted Vietnamese cuisine and engaged with members of other ASEAN countries' embassies. The children of the Vietnamese diplomats showcased traditional martial arts, which received applause from friends in the ASEAN community.

Following the activities, participants enjoyed traditional dishes from ASEAN countries, alongside music performances.

Vietnamese Ambassador Mai Phan Dung highlighted the importance of such event in fostering mutual understanding and solidarity among ASEAN member states, particularly younger generations. These interactions help children from ASEAN countries learn more about the region and its values.
