Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Policies and Strategies Tran Luu Quang, who is also Head of the Steering Committee for the development of the Project on “Strategic solutions to promote double-digit economic growth in the new era - the era of Vietnam’s rise”, chaired the meeting.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Editorial Team announced the decision to establish the Steering Committee, presented the draft proposal outline, and highlighted key points in the draft documents.

Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Policies and Strategies and Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee cum Chief of the Editorial Team Nguyen Hong Son emphasised that the project covers a broad and complex scope, requiring contributions from the entire society. He affirmed that ministries, agencies, and local authorities will play a crucial role in this effort. The editorial team will integrate feedback from various stakeholders and welcome further policy recommendations to develop breakthrough strategic solutions during implementation.

In his directive speech, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Policies and Strategies Tran Luu Quang noted that developing the project is critical, as a foundation for advising the Politburo and the Secretariat on issuing a resolution for economic growth acceleration in the new era.
During the implementation process, it is essential to conduct thorough research and analysis to identify innovative and breakthrough solutions for each sector and region, resolve institutional and policy bottlenecks, and boldly propose removal or amendments to outdated regulations that hinder development.
He urged all members of the Steering Committee and the editorial team to work with the highest determination, ensuring the project is of high quality and practical feasibility. Its contents must reflect a new mindset, innovative approach, and bold, breakthrough actions that inspire broad participation from all sectors. In addition, close coordination should be upheld to ensure the project’s timely progress.
