The event was co-organised by the Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), and the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Centre (DXCenter).

It aimed to provide a forum for experts and businesses to share experiences and discuss trends in AI application for managing, monitoring, and protecting information systems, while also identifying the opportunities and challenges arising in Viet Nam’s digital transformation journey.

Participants at the event agreed that that in the context that AI is being widely applied across almost all fields — from manufacturing, finance, and healthcare to energy and public administration — the world is facing a rapid increase in cybersecurity threats.

AI not only opens up numerous groundbreaking innovation opportunities but also poses significant security challenges as this very technology is being exploited as a tool for modern cyberattacks.

In Viet Nam, the wave of digital transformation is progressing strongly but is also accompanied by growing pressures on security infrastructure, information security, human resources, and system monitoring capabilities.

Discussions at the seminar focused on introducing AI-powered security operations centres (SOCs) — a next-generation cybersecurity monitoring system that applies multi-layered AI and automates processes for detection, response, and incident analysis, thereby enhancing the information system protection capacity for organisations and enterprises.

Experts also shared solutions such as financial AI agents — virtual assistants applying AI in the financial sector to automate data analysis, visualise reports, and support fast, accurate decision-making; and QTSC Smart View — an AI-integrated platform for centralised IT infrastructure management, featuring system fault prediction, anomaly detection, resource optimisation, and automated operational processes.
