The concert entitled 'From Heart to Heart' was sponsored by the VinaCapital Group and attracted the participation of both Vietnamese and international artists.
The money will be sent to the Heartbeat Vietnam organisation to help children with heart disease.
Of the total, Katherine Yip-Geicke, co-founder and administrative counselor of the VinaCapital Group donated US$50,000 herself, and the remainder was contributed by VinaCapital.
VinaCapital and Heartbeat Vietnam have provided ear surgeries for more than 1,700 needy children since 2006, and provided financial support and health services to nearly 300 needy families before and after their operations.
