Tet greetings extended to scientists and artists

Politburo member Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for Communication and Education, visited and extended Tet greetings to Professor, Doctor Pham Gia Khanh, former Director of the Military Medical Academy; and photographer Chu Chi Thanh, former President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival.

During the visits, Politburo member Nguyen Trong Nghia extended his wishes for Khanh and Thanh and their families to enjoy good health in New Year 2025 - the Year of the Snake - and expressed his hope that they will make further contributions to the country.

Briefing on the general situation of the country, especially the Party and State's policies and guidelines targeting scientists and artists, Nghia said the Party and State have issued many resolutions and policies to create favourable conditions for scientists and artists to maximise their capacity and courage their contributions to the national development in the new era, the era of Vietnam's rise.

For their part, Khanh and Thanh expressed their sincere thanks for the care of the Party and State for scientists and artists and pledged to further contribute to the common cause of the Party and the nation.
