The project will provide expanded EV charging infrastructure for Temecula, with Vinpowers partnering with Tesla to install fast-charging stations in the city’s Old Town district.

Temecula is one of four locations in Southern California included in the company’s expansion plan, which will bring a total of 60 Tesla fast chargers to the region.

The other three locations are Whittier, Garden Grove and Westminster.

The charging stations are expected to become operational in August 2026 and will be situated in high-traffic areas known for dining and tourism.

The project addresses growing demand for EV infrastructure as electric vehicle adoption continues to rise across California.

According to Vinpowers, the Temecula site will feature next-generation Tesla fast chargers capable of delivering up to 520 kW of power, significantly reducing charging times for drivers.

Mike Duong, CEO of Vinpowers, described the project as a highly significant milestone, underscoring the company’s commitment to clean energy infrastructure and community-focused development.

The project aligns with California’s broader efforts to advance zero-emission transportation, as cities across the state continue to expand access to charging facilities to accommodate the growing number of electric vehicles on the road.
