Tet gifts presented to policy beneficiaries and workers in Hung Yen Province

On January 14, Nhan Dan Newspaper and its partners handed over 300 million VND to the Hung Yen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for use in caring for policy beneficiaries in the locality on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The money was contributed by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Reading and Learning Culture JSC.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh, Director of Vietnam Reading and Learning Culture JSC, in recent years the company has held many charity activities to support policy beneficiaries and people in disaster-hit areas.

For his part, Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia expressed his thanks to Nhan Dan Newspaper and philanthropists for their act of kindness and requested the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to distribute Tet gifts to the right people in a timely manner.

On the same day, the National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen Province presented 100 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged trade union members and workers in Khoai Chau District. Each package included 1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 300,000 VND.

Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Reading and Learning Culture JSC also delivered 200 million VND to the leaders of Khoai Chau District to join the locality in its effort to care for families of policy beneficiaries ahead of Tet.
