The commitment was made at a meeting between the provincial authorities and exemplary businesses on January 14.
Speaking at the event, Do Van Ve, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association, noted that 2024 has been a challenging year due to global political and economic instability, which significantly impacted business operations. Many companies have been facing a lack of production orders, while costs for bank interest rates, transportation, electricity, water, and wages have all risen sharply.
Despite these difficulties, the economic outlook for the Thai Binh business community has seen much improvement thanks for the timely support of the local authorities and the great efforts of the business community.
He reported that many businesses have secured contracts for product sales, leading to increased revenue and contributions to the state budget while creating job opportunities and actively participating in social responsibility activities.
While extending his Tet greetings to the business community, Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the significant achievements of businesses over the past year.
He pledged that the provincial authorities would continue provide support and create optimal conditions to enhance an attractive investment environment for effective business operations.
At the event, the provincial authorities awarded certificates of merit to exemplary businesses for their contributions to social welfare in 2024.
